Howdy, you’ve heard of the herd mentality, right? I was thinking about it not two minutes ago while I was warming myself up for my next Instagram post. Oh, yes, that’s right; I’m posting to Instagram. I’m using this brand as my main storyboard these days. But let it be known that I haven’t yet junked my friends and blog readers, because I’m keeping them all on board. Thing is; the moment my Insta post goes out, the guys on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and WordPress are getting my feed too. Let’s just say, tongue in cheek, I’m keeping myself overexposed.
Deliberately. And it’s great to see what I’ve been able to achieve in such a short space of time. I’ve only been with Instagram for a few months, can’t think why I never thought of this before, and just look at what gains I’ve made. Followers galore, I tell you. But psst, let me also fill you in on a secret. Well, actually, it’s no longer the world’s best kept secret. Turns out that these guys have been doing this for yonks already. While I was still laboring on Facebook, these guys did this. And they’re still doing it.
And now I am. You go do this too. It’s like jump-starting your car’s battery or hotwiring your pal’s car. While your rivals keep to their usual snail’s pace posting and waiting, you go buy followers on Instagram so long. Especially if you’re new on Instagram, this nifty little purchase kind of gives you a head start. It’s what I was thinking about earlier. The herd mentality says; don’t go there. But I say; go there. Yes, I know. It sounds like I’m the devil incarnate, tempting you to do stuff that no-one else would ever dream of doing.
But now I’m really confused. I keep on wondering to myself why people are so scared to buy followers on Instagram. You’re never going to know if you don’t give it a try. I’m giving you the metaphor of the New York Stock Exchange. The moment there’s any sniff of a bear market, that’s the time you go in the opposite direction. You see, that’s how the herd mentality works. It’s all good and well to follow the leader but what if he’s wrong. If he’s any good as an influencer, he’d be the first to admit that, yes, he’s made those mistakes before.
Like procrastinating on an opportunity that’s just too good to go to waste. So, like I was saying, while the bears are cashing in their chips, that’s the time you go right ahead and start buying up your share. The thing is, the value of these shares would have plummeted. And they really only can go so low before they start climbing again. And down the line this is where you start to make your big gains. Geez, I was going to tell you a whole bunch of other stuff but look at what I ended up doing. Oh well. Cheers, guys!
