I could have started off by saying that its thanks to my years of experience in the business. But when I think of it, I’ve always been this way since day one. I have always been a conscientious worker and have grown to love being diligent and meticulous. You know, it’s not an occupational hazard, but I’ve become quite irritated lately.
Just because communications work on a social media platform calls for a casual tone doesn’t mean that you can excuse yourself to blog and post whimsically like a sloppy man on the sidewalk passing himself off as a heroic veteran. How insulting! And how insulting to your readers and would-be followers too. As far as I am concerned, given that each post and each caption is just so short, you have plenty enough time to edit your work before posting it on Instagram.
And how insulting for Instagram too, given all the things that this social media innovator has been putting together for you since the day its first customer platform went live all those years ago. Yes, it does seem like eons ago. Anyway, I thought I would just remind you of just how important it is to always polish your work up, especially if you want to gain Instagram followers at exceptional and competitive rates.
Once you get into the habit of hard grafting, it will be like a breeze. It becomes second nature to you. So, when writing up your captions for your photographs do always go back to it to check if it is descriptive enough. It must always remain in context with the picture’s theme or visual impression. Both you and Instagram can do very little about this aspect of live social media interactivity. Somehow or another, tagged pictures always seem to creep in. Sometimes, who knows, there may even be trolls or scammers.
And you need to edit these out. Instagram has placed you at liberty to do your own manual work in this regard. You can pick and choose the tagged photos in your profile or on your platform. But really folks, it is that simple. All you really need to do is go to Edit Tags and there you go. Unwanted or unwarranted images are hidden. But if you are like me, you could go the whole hog and delete these entirely. I told you so. I am a stickler for detail and I like to keep a tidy house. If I’m unhappy with how it looks, just imagine what my customers, as in my followers, must think.
That’s the attitude I take. And you should too. But I should also tell you that I’m not perfect. I make lots of silly little mistakes, particularly when I am tired. And I would get so embarrassed if I allowed my followers to see this nonsense. It really does not matter if they have known me for a long time. You see, I never take my loyal stalwarts for granted in that way.
